General Accountability
Coordinates and/or performs general administrative and clerical functions for the Talent Management section.
Key Job Functions • Perform a variety of office, recruitment and selection, clerical and administrative functions in support of the Talent Management section's activities. • Prepare and/or assist with the preparation of correspondence and/or documentation, including candidate offer letters, on behalf of the section in accordance with department/section standards. • Assist with the monitoring, tracking and updating of information/data/records, ensuring accuracy and following up as required. • Process or assist with the processing of documentation, reports, data, with accuracy, and manage and maintain these documents, records, files, following established procedures and within established timelines. • Liaise with other colleagues/support staff, other departments, and/or external parties concerning routine matters under the direction of section staff. • Perform administrative functions associated with new employee documentation and the TTC Transportation Pass program. • Assist with other related duties and tasks, and provide back up support as required. • Demonstrate behaviors that support diversity, inclusion, and a respectful work and service environment that is free from discrimination and harassment. Education and Experience
• Completion of post-secondary education in a relevant discipline (Human Resources) and related experience; or a combination of education, training and experience deemed to be equivalent.
Additional Requirements • Excellent typing, keyboarding and word processing skills as well as a good knowledge of grammar, punctuation and spelling. • Good interpersonal skills; demonstrated initiative and problem solving skills; and the ability to prioritize work to meet established deadlines. • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Focus, SharePoint, SAP SuccessFactors, and PPIN. • Knowledge of TTC policies and various Collective Agreements relating to the work is an asset.
