We initially started our Development Program to
inspire student-athletes on and off the court and
use their sporting-abilities as the tool to introduce
other programs while bringing prominence to the
community through our platforms.
The program was a huge success. As a result, we
decided to introduce a partnership through
Sisterkeeper (SK). The partnership was essential in
order to reach more student-athletes and deliver
education and programs in our steadfast battle
against rising student drop out rates, food insecurity,
gun violence, human trafficking and teen pregnancy.
